Twitter Anywhere simplifies the integration of Twitter into your Joomla website. Twitter Anywhere plugin adds Twitter Linkify, Hovercards, Follow button and Tweet Box.

| Linkify: | Linkify allows your website for auto-linkification of Twitter usernames. It provides a convenient way to link Twitter usernames found in your web site or application back to a user's profile page on Twitter.com. |
| Hovercards: | A Hovercard is a small, context-aware tooltip that provides access to data about a particular Twitter user. Hovercards also allows a user to take action upon a Twitter user such as following and unfollowing, as well as toggling device updates. e.g. hover @khawaib and see. |

Linkify Demo
Linkify feature allows you to automatically create links for twitter usernames. Using @twitterid create automatic links to twitter: @khawaib, @stylealoud
Hovercards Demo
Hovercards feature adds a handy way to interact with twitter users. Hover cards are a easy way to show profile informations of a twitter user without actually visiting someone's twitter profile. Hover on following Twitter IDs to see Hovercards: @khawaib, @stylealoud
Installation:
Step 1: Install the plugin using Joomla extensions installer from Extensions > Install/Uninstall in the backend of Joomla.
Step 2: Goto Extensions > Plugin Manager to plublish and configure settings.
Step 3: Follow Create Twitter Application below
Create Twitter Application:
Signup for a Twitter Application here http://twitter.com/apps/new
Enter following settings in application form:
| Application Icon: | You can upload your own Icon to be used with your application. |
| Application Name: | Enter name of your application |
| Description: | Enter description for yoru application |
| Application Website: | Website name where you will use application e.g. http://www.khawaib.co.uk |
| Organisation: | Enter your organisation name e.g. Paradex Computing Ltd |
| Website: | Name of your website |
| Application Type: | Select Browser |
| Callback URL: | Enter URL address of your website. Please make sure your enter this correct as application will not work. e.g. http://www.khawaib.co.uk |
| Default Access Type: | Choose Read and Write |
| Use Twitter for Login: | Choose Yes |
| Security Question: | Enter securoty question and click save |
Once you have saved the application copy Consumer key and paste into your plugin in backend of Joomla.
Plugin Configuration
| Twitter API Key | Application Key from your Twitter Application settings. |
| Twitter ID | Your twitter ID for your twitter account |
| Enable Twitter Links | Enable or disable Twitter Links. (Converts @twitterid to twitter links) |
| Enable Hover Popup | Display Additional Information on Hover. |
| Limit Linkify Scope | To limit scope of what is linkified pass a CSS selectyor. For example to linkify only Twitter usernames in an element with id of 'linkify-this-content', pass the selector '#linkify-this-content'. (default: body) |
| Twitter follow button | Show or hide Twitter Follow button. |
| Enable Tweet Box | Hide or show Twitter Follow button. (default: Yes) |
| Tweet Box Label | Enter label to use for Tweets Box. |
| Default Content | Default content for tweet box |
| Configure width for Tweet Box | Width of Tweets Box (default: 515). |
| Configure height for Tweet Box | Height of Tweets Box (default: 65). |
| Configure text colour for Tweet Box label | Label colour for Tweets Box (default: #B3D565). |
| Configure font size for Tweet Box label | Font size for tweet box label (default: 9em). |
| Enable/Disable Tweet Box counter | Hide to show the counter for remaining characters. (default: Yes) |
