What you need to install Facebook Fanbox Pro?
1. Admin access to Joomla website to install extensions. For more info seeJoomla Installation.
2. A basic understanding of how to install and configure Joomla modules. For more info see Joomla Extensions Install/Uninstall

5. A Facebook Page that promotes your website
6. Facebook Page URL or API Key and Page ID.

Installation:

Step 1: Install the module using Joomla extensions installer from Extensions > Install/Uninstall in the backend of Joomla.
Step 2: Goto Extensions > Module Manager to plublish and configure settings.

Hover over setting labels to see desfrptions for each settings.

Please Note: Styling does not take effect if you have installed Fanbox on your local host test servers, you need to install it on actual live website. Also make sure to hard refresh page (Control+F5) to refresh page and also try cleaning cache to see changes taking effect.

Configuration

You can configure and customise the look of your Fanbox by selecting the options that you require. To configure the module go to Module configuration page by clicking on Extensions > Module Manager and then go through the setting to make your changes.

Details Title: You can change the title to oneShow  Title: You can choose to display or not to display the title. Enabled: Enable or disable Fanbox Module Position: The position you want to show Fanbox in on your Joomla site. Order: Order for this module in selected position Access Level: You choose who will see your Fanbox.
Menu Assignment Menus: Select mode for menu selection Menu Selection: Select menu items where you would like to show module
Parameters Module Parameters Enable Connect Script: If your already using Facebook connect in your website then disable this option and set to No. If you have installed, Configured and Published JavaScriptSDK plugin then set this to No. Otherwise select Yes to enable the connect script. API Key: This is the API key from your Facebook Application. You do not need to configure this if you have already Installed, configured and Published JavaScriptSDK plugin. Page ID: ID of your page on Facebook page How to get a your API key and Page ID? To create an Application and get API Key please read How to create a Facebook Application. Rendering Mode: Select how to render the box, JavaScript or iFrame. iFrame works in most browsers
Language: Specify the language in which you want the Fanbox to appear. Width: Width of Fanbox (default 300 pixels) Height: Height of Fanbox (default 500 pixels)
Use custom CSS: Use custom CSS or use default Facebook CSS Choose colours bellow for custom look. If you disable this option default Facebook styles will be used. Font Family: Choose the font you like for Fanbox. Leave as Default if you want your websites fonts. Border Thickness: Choose border thickness around Fanbox. None removes border completely. (Default: 1px) Border Colour: Choose colour for overall Fanbox Background. You can override this setting by choosing colours for other sections below Fanbox Background Colour: Choose colour for overall Fanbox Background. You can override this setting by choosing colours for other sections below
Show Top Area: Choose to show or hide Top area. Top area includes your Facebook profile image, Page name and Like Button. (Defalt is Show). Top Background Colour: This is the background colour that display in top area of Fanbox, behind your image and Button. Top Text Colour: Text colour for the text appearing in Top area. Top Link Text Colour: Hypelink colour for the links appearing in Top area. Show Profile Image: Choose to show or hide profile image (Default is Show) Profile Image Width: Select width for Profile Image (Default is 40 pixels) Profile Image Height: Select the Link colour of top area (Default is 40 pixels) Align Profile Image: Choose alignment for Profile Image. Leave Default for default Facebook alignment. Options are Default, Align Left and Align Right Padding for Profile Image: Enter padding for profile image (Top Right Bottom Left) (Default: 0 10pixels 0 0). Show Like Button: Show or hide Like button (Default is Show). Like Button Colour: Choose colour for like Button Leave Blank for Facebook default colour (Default: Blank) Like Button Text Colour: Choose colour for Like Button Text. Leave Blank for Facebook default colour. (Default is Black)
Include Stream: Enable/disable Streams. Streams are the posts you make on Facebook page. Set Yes to show them or No to remove them. Stream Height: Sets the height of stream area. Make sure Include Stream is set to yes Show Scroll Bar: Show or hide scroll bar for stream area Stream Background Colour: Select a background colour for Stream area in Fanbox Stream Text Colour: Select the text colour for Stream text in Fanbox Stream Link Text Colour: Choose colour for hyperlink text in streams area Display Stream Name: Hide or show the Stream name in the Streams. Display Stream date: Hide or show the date bellow each Stream Set to Yes or No Stream date Text Colour: Select the Stream date text colour. Stream Separator: Select the stream separator line colour.
Fans to Show: Number of fans to display in the fans area. Link to Page: Show link to page on Facebook or any other link you choose. Page Name: Page name to show as Link Link: Link to open Target: Target Link to open. Options are Parent Window or New window Text after name: Text to show after page name Link Styling: CSS Styles for link e.g. Font-size: 11px; padding-lest: 0px;
Advance Parameters Unique ID: Give each module a unique id if you are using more then one module on your website for separate styling Time Stamp: Ignore this field and do not try to change Module Class Suffix: Use this field to apply module class suffix Caching: Enable/Disable cashing for the module Cache Time: Time after the module should be re-chached. User Guide

For visitors to your Joomla website it's easy and simple to use.
After browsing your website and deciding they like it. They can click on the Like button in your Fanbox. This will put a link to your website on their Facebook page. Anyone who reads their Facebook page will be able to see that they have liked your site. They will then be able to click on that link to come and visit your site.

In Fanbox people can also see your Facebook streams. By clicking on these visitors are taken to your Facebook page.
