OK I purchased this zoo one since you stated it would work but it's not even showing up anywhere.

I followed the instructions in the readme which just said to copy folder to elements in the blog application located in media/zoo/applications/blog.

There was no elements folder there by the way... Zoo actually uses administrator/components/com_zoo/elements/ to store all the elements which worries me that this is KA Zoo Like script is outdated...? Also I need it in more places than just the blog.

Can you update this or tell me how to get it to work correctly.

Hi,

You will not see an elements folder at
[ROOT]/media/zoo/applications/[YOUR APPLICATION]/elements
so you will have to create elements folder in your application at above mentioned path and drop the provided folder there.

You also have to add elements in your application configurations.

Looks like I was having a server issue last night when trying to work on this because noting showed up under the zoo templetes for me to add. I logged in this morning and it's there.

One more question. I have it showing up in the backend. I've added it as an element then I added it to my templates such as FULL but it doesn't show up anywhere. I tried moving it to different places in the template and I turned the label on so that I could see if the name would show up but it's not.

Do you have any idea why once I've added it to my layout that it wouldn't appear?

I activated the plugin and put my Application ID in it and I've set all the settings in the element.

Any thoughts while I'm trying to figure this out?

Hi,

May be you need to clear website cache.

I assume you also added it in Edit Elements too.

Also when you edit article do you see Like and Share and is it set to Yes.

Here is what I did and what I see.

I cleared my sites cache.
I went to "edit Elements" under the app I am using and added the Like and Share to it.
I went to my "full" layout template and placed the Like and Share into the template.
If I go to a Zoo item and edit the page it has the Like and Share : yes / no radio button and yes is selected.
But the Like and Share isn't showing up anywhere on the page. I checked the source page, activated the "show header" option so that I could at least see if it was inserting it into the template but nothing appears, not even the header / title.

I also have the system plugin activated and my app id inserted.

Any other thoughts?

I also tried adding to to another site with the same results and I tried adding it to books, pages, blog, and movies along with products.

Did you all get this figured out? I just installed the plugin and am having the same trouble. The element shows up, add it to template, set radio button to YES (it is that way by default), but the element doesn't show on the article.

I have cleared the cache.

What was the solution?

Yes we did. I believe he is working on an updated version. Mine works great now so I'm sure he will be along shortly to reply.
